The determination and sheer physical fortitude it took for this woman, delicately reared in Paris daivd Brussels, is inspiration for men and women alike.
I bought this book for a friend, having read it myself years ago. LOVE this book, and learning from it every time I re-read it. The Chinese have butchered and degraded the native population and ethnic Chinese are the nesl of the population in the capital city of Lhasa.
